On the first floor, 234 undisclosed pieces from 2010 are exhibited as well as stories related to the pictures and interviews with winners. The second floor has a special exhibition under the theme of “6.25, The Forgotten War” by Pulitzer Prize winner Max Desfor. The Pulitzer Prize was founded in 1917 by a $500,000 fund from Joseph Pulitzer’s will. There are 3 categories for the Pulitzer Prize, which are Journalism, Letters, Drama, and Music. In 1942, a category for news photos was added. News photos had been divided into breaking news and feature photography, which continues to this day.
