Keimyung University will establish an institute-enterprise in the Daegu Special Research and Development Zone. This business will be a joint venture with Micro Display Ltd and Dae-Gyeong (Daegu Gyeongbuk) Regional University Common Technology Prop. Ltd. They took a vote at Keimyung University’s Sung-seo campus on March 11.

The main technology that the institute-enterprise will study is a patent that professor of Medical Treatment Engineering Lee Jong ha (38) received for audiovisual equipment for filming breasts. The technology will make it possible to check someone for breast cancer without the help of a medical specialist. This April, KMU and the two companies will establish the corporation and begin the industrialization process.
