On August 29, the orientation for foreign scholarship graduate students and the Buddy program was held at Keimyung University. About 230 students from 72 countries and their Korean buddies participated in this orientation.

This orientation was mainly focused on the upcoming Korean education program for foreign graduate students. From this September 1st for a year, foreign students will take classes with professors who specialize in Korean Education. They will have the chance to learn Korean culture and language and visit various historical sites in Korea.

The host of the orientation says “Here are many students from various countries. All students need to make an effort to understand and respect different cultures.” Additionally information about getting medical care, going to a market and shopping was provided.
