Department of Theater Arts students won the gold prize at the First H-Art Dream Festival hosted by the Hyundai Motor Group and Korea Association of Performing Arts Products. The purpose of this contest is to help students who have creativity and talent to get a job.

In this contest, more than 1,500 students from 45 universities participated. The contest had a document examination last April and the preliminaries until June. A total of 14 teams including 7 teams in the field of theater and 7 teams in the field of musicals advanced to the finals. The final was held in front of four thousand spectators in the National Theater and Daehakro from August 7 to 18.

KMU Theater Arts students submitted the play Fantastics. The judges gave favorable comments. They won the gold prize in the field of musicals and got 3,500,000 won.
