Han Mun-sik, who is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, was awarded a presidential citation at the 10th Automobile Day held at COEX Intercontinental Hotel on May 10.

Professor Han received the citation in recognition of his work for the automotive industry. He contributed to the development of components and vehicles for the automobile industry while serving at the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials. He carried out a large amount of government and academic research. He has also contributed to regional development through his work in human resources and research.

Professor Han said, “I'm glad because of the unexpected award. I will work even harder and strive for the development of Korean automotive engineering.”
