On January 21th, an honorary doctorate conferment ceremony was held in Adams Chapel. Ukifune Kunihiko, the GK academy president, got an honorary doctorate of education, and Moshe Sharon, the chief of Daegu-Tech, got an honorary doctorate of business administration.

About 1,000 distinguished guests, including the Israeli ambassador Tuvia Israeli who gave the congratulatory message, participated in this ceremony. The event included the achievement introduction, honorary doctorate certificate presentation and speech by Synn Il-hi, valedictory speech, congratulatory speech, and pipe organ performance.

Synn Il-hi explained his joy by saying, "From now on, Ukifune Kunihiko and Moshe Sharon are proud alumnus of KMU."
