These days, many students do part-time jobs. The Keimyung Gazette carried out a survey on part-time jobs with 200 university students.

② Education (private lesson, private educational institute) (15%)
③ Manufacturing industry (14%)
④ Leisure industry, cultural industry (3%)

1-2. If you don’t do a part-time job, which field do you want to work in later?
① Education (private lesson, private educational institute) (31%)
② Restaurant industry(29%)
③ Leisure industry, cultural industry(25%)
④ Manufacturing industry (6%)
⑤ Other (9%)

2. Where do you get information on part-time jobs?
① Web sites (55%)
② Friends or acquaintances (36.5%)
③ Job advertisements (7%)
④ Other (1.5%)

3. What is your reason for doing a part-time job?
① To make pocket money (71%)
② To experience social life (19%)
③ To pay college tuition (5%)
④ Other (5%)

The Keimyung Gazette found that lots of students are doing part-time jobs in the restaurant industry. Also many students who don’t have a part-time job want to work in the field of education to make their own pocket money.
