Keimyung University was selected the only Innovation Center for Engineering Education (ICEE) in Daegu. The Ministry of Education & Science Technology and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology sponsor this enterprise for improving the quality of university engineering education.

In the project, KMU planned the Keimyung Engineering Innovation Special Education Program (KEISEP) and the Female Smart Engineer Education Program.

KMU will receive 200 million won every year for 10 years. KMU will carry out business capstone design, a local industry complex education course, KEISEP, global standard engineering education, and a female engineering education program with the budget.

Yoon Kwang-ryul, director of ICEE in KMU, said, “Thanks to everyone who helped in this selection. We will lead the evolution of Korean engineering education.”
