On April 7, the Chinese Ambassador was invited to give a lecture in Euiyang Hall. He talked about strategies for strengthening cooperation and promoting friendship.

Ambassador Jang said that Korea and China have been exchanging in lots of fields, such as in economy, society, culture, and politics. Furthermore, he said that nowadays China is growing fast in the domestic market and so it contributing to recovering the world economy. He also pointed out that the Chinese domestic market is an attractive market to Korea. Through the Chinese domestic market, Korea will be able to prosper.

Jang also said that "neighboring countries of far-east Asia have to develop together. For this to take place, strengthening cooperation between Korea and China is very important."
