Keimyung University decided to make a donation for residents of Yeonpyeong Island. Keimyung University will donate 10 million won raised from Keimyng 1% Love Sharing through the Republic of Korea National Red Cross. Keimyung also plans to send volunteers composed of Keimyung staffs and students to Yeonpyeong Island to do restoration works and aid after getting permission from the authorities.

Keimyung 1% Love Sharing is composed of 741 Keimyung staff and has operated since 2004. The organization has been maintained by 1% of Keimyung staffs’ pay. They have raised about 260 million won to help the poor and relief activities.
