On August 13, Keimyung University College of Fashion, with the help of Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP), became the first local university to start using Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).

KMU has been broadcasting some of the services provided by the Dept. of Fashion Design and the Dept. of Textile Design via IPTV. The departments already have been providing Internet-based e-learning and developing new teaching methods using IPTV services to apply to a new generation which is familiar with digital culture. It has been cooperating with Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP) to develop new educational approaches.

In addition, this service will be used for students and graduate students. Students can use this service when they have lessons outside school or overseas projects.
