A Tea Culture Event by Korea and China

On June 9, a tea culture event by Korea and China, conducted by Keimyung University, the Tea Culture Institute, and the Confucius Institute was held in Keimyung Village School, Hanhak-chon.

The purpose of the event is to promote mutual development of tea culture and understand differences and common points of tea culture between South Korea and China through the display of various teas and traditional tea ceremonies of Korea and China.

At the event, people watched tea experts from South Korea and China give demonstrations of tea manners and traditional methods of making tea and tasting it. Also, there were many musical performances, including a Gayageum duet and a Yang-gum performance.
