Daegu City announced the results of the 18th Daegu construction prize. Keimyung Art Center and the College of Music and Performing Arts building were chosen as the gold prize winner. They got a high evaluation for using environmentally-friendly materials and for superior design.

Keumyung University took the honor for the second consecutive year, as the Center for International Education won the 17th construction prize last year.
