On July 31th, the first half year of the 2009 Korean language course ceremony was held in the multimedia room on the 3rd floor of the new Bauer Hall, sponsored by Dong Yeong Hall (the Center for International Education).

During the opening comments, Eom Woo-youg, a Professor from the Department of Education and the head of the School of Korean Language, said, "We wish students awarded with the Certificate of Korean Language study Korean hard, so they can make good use of their Korean language ability."

The ceremony consisted of awarding certificates, student representative speeches, introduction of the teachers, and other special performances.
