The Department of Theatre Arts of Keimyung University held a charity performance for people with special needs, and low-income families’ teenagers, on August 4 and 7. This department has often organized these kinds of performances for local residents and teenagers. They performed the Korean trot musical Blind Love for mentally disabled people in 2006 and also performed a fantasy musical for multicultural families in 2008.

This performance was done under the name Over the Rainbow in the small theater in the performance hall at Seongseo Campus. Through this play, the department conveyed hopeful and also encouraging messages to local residents through the main characters’ stories of overcoming many difficulties.
