On June 9, a naming ceremony was held at Seongseo campus, sponsored by the Office of General Affairs. This ceremony was held for the purpose of appreciating those who contributed much to Keimyung University.
Building names have been changed: Baekeun Hall has become Seokchonsil, named after emeritus professor Hong Young-seok; the students′ hall in the College of Engineering has become Yeononggyan, named after emeritus professor Kim Jung-hwan; and the arbor of Keimyung
