Keimyung University successfully finished its second recruitment of freshmen with 5500 students accepting offers, registering an overall competition rate of 4.61:1. The School of Medicine had the highest competition rate of 23.62:1 with 614 students applying for 26 places.
Kang Mun-sik, superintendent of admissions, said, “The competition rate is similar to that of last year, but the number of applicants increased by 1110.” He added, “Through setting up specialized programs, we will continue to recruit excellent students.”
