The CEO Forum was held at the College of Business Administration at 2 p.m. on May 8. The lecturer was Eom Sang-gyu, who is the head of HICO which stands for Gyeongju Hwabaek Convention Center. The theme of the lecture was the convention industry and strategies for the industry.

First, he introduced the convention industry. The modern convention industry is composed of meetings and exhibitions. It is the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Event) industry. Korea is third in the world in this industry. Then, he explained the promising aspects of this industry. He gave two examples. The first is making a lot of money by starting your own business after working at a convention company for a year. The second is making a lot of money while working for many years at the same company. He said English is important for the convention industry.
