Utah State University

 

Utah State University, a public and state university located in Rogan, Utah, was established in 1888. Utah State University. Main Campus is located in Rogan, also, some of the regional campuses and centers of Utah State University included on Brigham, Tooele, Uintah, and Moab. It was renamed as its current name in 1957 through the Agricultural College of Utah and Utah State Agricultural College. Also, the Meryl-Casier Library in the university boasts a huge collection of more than 1.6 million copies. The symbol of the school is Big Blue(a blue bull) and is nicknamed Aegis. With more than 1,000 faculty members and about 24,000 undergraduate students as of the fall semester of 2016, Utah State University has a ratio of about 19 students per one faculty member, ranking 23rd in the best online program in the United States. 

 

Utah State University has 9 college; School of Graduate Studies, Caine College of the Arts, College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Science, College of Veterinary Medicine, Emma Eccles Jones College of Education & Huma Services, Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, and S.J & Jessie E. Quinney College of Natural Resources. Throughout the nine colleges, it has various majors in design, music, aeronautical engineering, biotechnology, sociology and anthropology, computer engineering, environmental engineering, psychology, and nursing, and offers more than 200 undergraduate programs. Furthermore, As of 2023, the University of Utah, which ranked 260th among U.S. universities in the U.S. university rankings of US News and World Reports, produced the 2013 Nobel Prize in economics winner Lars Peter Hansen. Additionally, the university's alumni include Representatives Bang Harry Reid and Chris Stewart, NASA astronaut Mary L. Cleave, philanthropist Gregory C. Carr, poet May Swenson, soccer hall of fame tribute Merlin Olsen, former U.S. ambassador to the United States Ardeshir Zahedi, who served as Iran's foreign minister, and actor Stephen Ford.

 

The University of Utah, whose motto is "exploration, service, and education," has achieved a ranking of eighth in the U.S. public university rankings as of 2022 in Munsley Washington. To apply to Utah State University as an international student, you must have TOFEL score over 71 or over 5.0 for each part of IELTS, or over 52 MET scores.
