Tampere University

 

Tampere University is a public university in Tampere, Finland. On January 1, 2019, Tampere University and Tampere University of Technology were merged to form a new university. It is the second largest university in Finland and it is considered one of the most diverse educational programs in Finland. In addition to Finnish lectures, there are 34 master's courses and two bachelor's programs conducted in English, including game research and mineralogy. Tampere University is highly competitive in engineering, health, and sociology. and interdisciplinary research in various fields. The university is very active and has excellent experience and aims to link research to practical uses. Based on its excellent research environment and infrastructure, the university offers world-class research and development opportunities on campus. It also emphasizes that international cooperation can create global values that help the community as well as the world.  
 
Tampere University in Finland has a lot of lectures for exchange students. It’s homepage was easy to navigate, and the materials for exchange students are very well organized. The requirements that must be taken before taking the subject are generous. In addition, students can attend Tampere Summer School, which runs for three weeks before the start of the regular semester, but there is a selection process, so there is not unconditional acceptance. 
 
In order to be able to attend Tampere University, applicants must meet the criteria for exchange students at Tampere University set by Keimyung University. First, you must have been enrolled for at least two semesters at KMU. Second, your GPA at Keimyung University should be 3.0 or higher. Finally, language grade standards must be reached. For Tampere University, it must be TOEFL IBT 79 or IELTS 6.0 or higher or TOEIC 800 or higher.
