Freshmen will complete the "Business Start-ups" curriculum 

Keimyung University will implement fully a curriculum for starting a business for all new students regardless of their major from 2022. According to Keimyung University on the 10th, the newly introduced smart start-up education system will be carried out step by step from the 0th to the 3rd. 
In Step 0, AI and computing thinking (1 credit) literacy education necessary for each category is provided. The first stage enhances understanding of online business and platform through smart business and start-up foundation (2 credits) 
In the practical training for smart business start-ups will be conducted in connection with the 'major project' subject opened for each department. In this process, a plan containing specific online start-up ideas will be prepared along with participation in various comparisons and education. 
The last third stage plans to support actual start-ups such as practical training and mentoring for commercialization in connection with the Keimyung University Startup Support Group and grant credits (3 credits) through actual start-up field training. 
The school expects that if such a curriculum is fully implemented for freshmen, students' individual online business models will be created on various platforms such as live commerce, smart stores, and metabuses in the future.
