Every year, National University Student Life Counseling Center Conference has awarded
the best university counseling institutions in each of three areas: activity, counseling, and
programs. The KMU Student Counseling Center was selected as an excellent Counseling
Center institution in the program sector.
The KMU Student Counseling Center produced consultation manual pamphlets and videos
for enhancing their counseling capacity. In addition, it carried out a Keimyung Life Career
(KLC) roadmap based on the career survey of KMU students. Also, the Keimyung-Mind
Care of Minority (K-mom) program which counseled foreign students, transfer
students and psychologically vulnerable students, and received high evaluations.
Eun-jung Son, the chief of the KMU Student Counseling Center, said “KMU Student
Counseling Center has been focusing on providing students with the services and benefits
they need and increasing accessibility to the center. Our center will develop various programs to meet what students want and need.” The KMU Student Counseling Center is expected to give more help to the students’ campus life.
