CORE




The Ministry of Education announced that Keimyung University (KMU) was selected for CORE, the acronym for COllege of humanities Research and Education. Seven universities in the capital and nine regional universities were selected. CORE is the first financial support for research and education in colleges of humanities. This initiative was made to overcome the low popularity and the low employment rate of humanities majors. The Ministry of Education will give a total of 60 billion won under CORE to revitalize and strengthen humanities departments.

In Daegu, only Keimyung University and Kyungpook National University were selected for this project. Based on this, KMU will cultivate humanities talent.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
