There are many social issues on the news. The Keimyung Gazette carried out a survey to check the awareness of social issues among KMU students.

As seen in the survey, 66% of KMU students are aware of current social issues. 41% of them collect the news from the television, and 42% of them went across social issues once a week. 39% of them are interested in global issues, and 57% of them believe that it is important for university students to be aware of current social issues.
