Ulsan Tour

Do you have much stress due to daily life? You can relieve the stress by taking a trip. Let me introduce a beautiful place to you. Can you guess? It’s Ulsan. Ulsan is one of the metropolitan cities in Korea. It is a good city for a trip because it has beautiful sea and other attractions like Jeongja Beach, Jangsaengpo whale museum, Daewangam Park, and Ulsan Grand Park.

① Jeongja Beach
Jeongja beach is the one of the best places to watch the sun rising. It also has some unusual features. The beach is composed of gravel, not sand, and there are basalt pillars which are made when magma cools down rapidly. You can take lovely pictures with your camera, and in doing so you can throw your stress away on the gravel beach!

② Daewangam Park
Daewangam Park is located on the beach. You can guess how beautiful it is from the picture. Daewangam Park has amazing scenery. In the park, you can see 15,000 trees, some over 100 years old, big rocks, and the fantastic sea at the same time. One feature of this park is that the rocks have special shapes. There are many rocks including Yonggul and Halmaebawi, and a whale’s jaw. I can’t express how beautiful it is!

③ Jangsaengpo Whale Museum
Jangsaengpo Whale Museum is a place in which you can satisfy your curiosity about whales. There is lots of information about whales’ feeding, habitat, appearance, type, and evolution. Also, you can see various fish that we can’t see commonly, including sharks. There are three big dolphins with a length of 255cm and a weight of 200kg. The dolphins do performances, and you can watch their amazing jumps! If you want to know more, see below.
