KMU held a Korean language and culture camp on Seongseo Campus on August 4. The students came from Switzerland, Japan, and all around Europe.

This camp held various programs for three weeks. There were Korean language classes in the morning and various Korean culture classes in the afternoon. Students put on hanbok, did taekwondo, took samulnori lessons, had lessons in K-pop dancing, and went to a jjimjilbang. They also visited Gyeongju and Busan and went on a field trip to historical Silla sites and K-Drama film sites to get to know about Korean history and culture.

Prof. Kim Sun-jung (Korea Culture Studies) said, “We want to spread Korean language and culture. This camp was an opportunity for foreigners to get to know about Korean culture and communicate with Korean students.”
