Keimyung University announced that the Department of Police Administration distinguished itself in the recent police test and national examination on April 29. The 62nd police cadet test was the first exam in which the Department of Police Administration produced 3 successful students, Jeon Yujeong (28), Kang Cheongil (27), and Kim Minjeong (26). Also, it was the first time that Keimyung produced a female police cadet (Kim Minjeong). Keimyung students declare over 10% of the successful candidates.

The Department of Police Administration produced 67 police officers (including 1 police cadet), 1 student who passed the bar exam, and 6 public servants in 2011. Moreover, Keimyung produced 41 police officers (including 1 police cadet), 1 student who passed the bar exam, and 10 public servants in 2012.

Professor Yoon U-seok, the dean of the Department of Police Administration, said, “Our major was first in regional universities. We have strived to produce superior students for the last 10 years. Our steady effort has shown fruition, so I am happy about that. We will keep trying to become first in this field.”
