Keimyung University donated 20 million won for residents who were damaged by the forest fire in Pohang. According to the vice-president of management, Keimyung University delivered the money along with words of comfort. This fund was raised by the whole staff of Keimyung University.

Also, the university gave one million won to the staff of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.

In addition, Keimyung University looked for KMU students damaged by the fire and the extent of the damage to give them special scholarships.

The vice-president of management said, “There are many students from Pohang in our university, so this forest fire was even more sad. We hope this little fund from the whole staff could help and comfort them.”
