This event gave a red rose to anyone who returned 115 books from KMU's education collection to the library by using the auto book lending machine. On April 1, Keimyung University (KMU) hosted a tree planting event to celebrate Arbor Day. This Arbor Day celebration was held in KMU’s Dongyoung Forest in Chilgok. The event attendees removed dead trees, planted valuable research trees such as white birch, hinoki cypress and oriental raisin tree and learned about their medicinal uses. The writer Ryu Kwang-hyun has traveled to 31 countries and listened to the stories of Korean CEOs who have lived in foreign countries. On January 22, every recent graduate of Keimyung University’s College of Pharmacy passed the 67th state Pharmaceutical Chemist Examination. In 2011, Keimyung University founded its College of Pharmacy, so last year was the first year that the College of Pharmacy produced graduates.
