On Saturday, February 17th, the Vietnam Alumni Association held its inaugural ceremony at the SUNWAH Hall of Hanoi University of Foreign Studies. In the globally renowned fashion city of Milan, from October 24th (Tuesday) to 26th (Thursday), 2023, the 'Fashion Graduate Italia 2023' event took place. Students in the fashion departments of Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee) and Kyungpook National University (President Hong Won-hwa) were officially invited as student representatives of Milan's sister city, following their participation in the event last year. KMU announced on the October 7th that it has been selected as an outstanding educational institution for the 'Taekwondo Promotion Project for Foreigners in Korea,-'. This competition was organized by the World Taekwondo Headquarters and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea National Sport University. On Friday, November 3rd, an Aerospace Industries Recruitment Session for International Students was held. It was the first Recruitment Session targeting International Students on KMU campus this semester. This session, requested by KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries, LTD), took place at the International Lounge of KMU. International Students from KMU in the field of engineering who were interested in being hired were able to participate through advanced application. Dongsan Library, located on the Seongseo campus of Keimyung University, holds a movie screening called SooSangHan Cinema every month. Screenings begin at 13:30 every Wednesday and finish depending on the runtime of the movie. The screening location is the Multiplex Room on the 3rd floor of Dongsan Library. The schedule of movies is posted on the Keimyung University Dongsan Library website, so students can select the movie they want to see and visit accordingly. Since the school vacation period is approaching in December, only three movies will be aired in December. The schedule is as follows.
The KMU International Lounge held the LAS Weekdays to improve KMU students’ language skills and enhance their interests in language learning. The LAS Weekdays is operated from September 18th to December 8th, and the program offered English, German, and Arabic. students could apply for the program in advance from September 11th. The available spots are determined by order of arrival at the International Lounge every week, and up to five applicants are accepted for each class. If an applicant was absent three times without permission, they cannot apply for other classes and attending every class

K-LACE (Korean Language and Culture Exchange) is being offered this semester. A Volunteer Korean Language Assistant leads one or two Learners. The program has 3 levels. Level 1 is for Elementary students, Level 2 is for pre-intermediate students, and Level 3 is for intermediate students. Foreign students can learn Korean necessary for their daily lives from Korean students. Also Korean students can get to foreign students and learn how to organize the necessary teaching methods for learning. Assistants are able to develop the classes they want to teach.
